Tumbled nuggets of deep blue sodalite hang from 14g work and tumble hardened copper hoops in my Little Cobra shape. They are just shy of 2 1/2" long or 4cm and weigh approximately 10 grams each. They are designed to be worn through a stretched piercing of 14g or larger or a tunnel of 10g or larger (though of course it depends on the aperture of the tunnel!). This listing is for the pair.
Please note these are *not* for regular pierced ears which have a piercing of 18-20g.
Named after Vindalf or "wind elf" mentioned in the Voluspa, these ear weights are one of my Sindri's forge pieces made of fluid copper.
Sodalite is one of my favourite stones to work with and wear as it feel like wearing a piece of the sky. Often called the poet's stone, Sodalite is very grounding but enlightened, corresponding to the throat chakra. It's said to aid with clarity of communication.
All my jewellery is made by hand by my partner Mike and myself in a converted 18th century naval school on the wild North coast of Scotland. All pieces come gift wrapped with lavender and Scottish heather.
