Tiny bells with black goldstone orbs for clappers. These Tibetan silver bells are crowned with more glistening black goldstone Swarovski crystals. They hang from sterling silver leverback ear wires and measure just shy of 2" long.
These earrings were inspired by the bells of York Minster-- I love to hear them ringing from my back garden. It takes one person to ring each bell in the minster's tower-- they have to jump up and down to do it! It's very physical work.
Black goldstone is dear to my heart-- a kind of fused glass, it's a product of the experiments of medieval alchemist's attempts to make gold.
