This necklace was inspired by old-school sentimental tattoos. Nacreous blue hearts frame an oxidized pewter anchor, and all hang from a delicate wire wrapped chain of faceted, fire-polished black Czech beads. The necklace closes with a hand forged "S" clasp.
I love this feminine, grounded piece-- perfect for that down-to-earth, tattooed vixen in your life (even if that is you!). The necklace measures 17" including hand-forged, spiral-adorned hook and eye clasp.
This necklace was inspired by the faith, hope and charity motif was popularized in Victorian times and would often be used on lockets. The heart is charity and the anchor represents hope. The anchor of hope comes from the families of sailors, hoping for their safe return.
