This simple charm pendant features Guanyin, the bodhisattva and Goddess of Mercy, sitting in lotus pose. I have included two lotus charms on either side (one with an Om detail on the reverse). The pendant measures 1 3/4" long or 76cm and hangs from a 30" length of vegan suede in your choice of colours, or hung from purple waxed linen cord (see last photo).
Guanyin, short for Guanshiyin in Chinese means "The One Who Perceives the Sounds of the World," or the one who hears our laments, she is often depicted as neither male nor female, but beyond gender.
All my jewellery is made by hand by my partner Mike and myself in a converted 18th century naval school on the wild North coast of Scotland. All pieces come gift wrapped with lavender and Scottish heather.
