A Tibetan silver Fox mask pendant hangs from a Victorian inspired scrollwork connector, flanked by a pair of Czech glass and Swarovski crystal links in shades, marmalade, fire opal and deep topaz. All hang from silver plated chain and close with a toggle clasp.
This necklace was inspired by kitsune, or changeling foxes. When I lived in London, the wild cries of vixens serenaded me in the middle of the night-- sounding like tormented banshees. Kitsune are shape-shifters in traditional Asian folklore-- with the ability to make fire from their tails and bend time and space.
Necklace measures a little over 17" long.
