Tiny, elaborate blossoms from a fey patch of moorland, these small lucite trumpet flowers are crowned in layers of filigree and purple-toned Swarovski crystals. The the stamens hold more glittering Swarovski pearls and crystals and all are suspended from leverback ear wires. These wires can be changed to hypoallergenic niobium French wires if you prefer. Simply let me know if you would like them changed in the "message to seller" box at checkout.
These earrings come in two purple tones-- one is a warm heather with antique brass accents and the other is a deep violet colour (inspired by my grandmother's favourite flower, the African Violet) with gunmetal accents. Please choose your preference from the drop down menu.
Earrings measure 2 1/4" including ear wires.
I was inspired to make these after hiking on the moors in midsummer-- my favourite place to be. The heather blooms in every shade of purple imaginable, and the delicate flowers are a sharp contrast to the desolate landscape, making them seem even more magical. I tried to capture that feeling of delicacy and wonder in these earrings.
