A gloriously delicate and luminous antique piece dating from the roaring 20s. This delicate rosary style strand is punctuated with larger mother of pearl ovals. The necklace is cleverly strung, with the longest section of tiny links designed to sit flat at the back of the neck, and the singular oval (differing from the overall framed-oval pattern) hangs at the very base. I have secured the links and done some gentle cleaning, nothing more-- preferring to keep the patina as a note of the age of this piece.
In the photos you can see this can be worn different ways, doubled. Necklace is 42" or 107cm long.
All my vintage is lovingly sourced and my jewellery is made by hand by my partner Mike and myself in a converted 18th century naval school on the wild North coast of Scotland. All pieces come gift wrapped with lavender and Scottish heather.
