A pair of 2mm thick threader hoops made of work-hardened brass. They close with a copper spring. These are designed to fit through gauged piercings and measure 1 1/4" in diameter. They are lighter weight, with each hoop weighing 4 grams. I was inspired to make these by one of my favourite belly dancing sisters!
I love this smaller size for everyday wear, for when you are pole vaulting or something and can't wear mega hoops, or for winter when you are wrapping up in a big old scarf and don't want your hoops to get in the way. These are perfect for that! The last photo shows John modelling his aluminium mini Teslas, which are the same size.
Named after the great inventor and showman, Nikolai Tesla. Here's a quick video
showing how to take off and put on my Tesla coil hoops.
All my jewellery is made by hand by my partner Mike and myself in a converted 18th century naval school on the wild North coast of Scotland. All pieces come gift wrapped.
